How Kids Can Make Money:
Car Wash

by Shamari
(MO, USA)

Kids can advertise their services to their neighbors to begin building up their customers. They will have to make sure their prices are lower than average car washes. I would suggest $5 for a regular wash and $10 for a wash and wax. If they would like the full service (car wash, wax, and vacuum), then they could charge $15. I think this would cover their expenses and net them a profit.

Thanks, Shamari! This is a great suggestion, and all your points about advertising and pricing are exactly on point. This is true whether you're a kid trying to make money or a teen with a great business idea - and no matter what that idea may be.
