Something Different...
Green Lemonade Recipes!

Looking for a unique lemonade recipe for your lemonade stand? Try these green lemonade recipes!

There are several variations - from limeade to green tea. You choose which one works for your customers and your budget.

Green lemonade recipe

1 can frozen lemonade concentrate
1 can frozen lime juice (or limeade) concentrate
8 cans water (use the cans from the concentrate)
Sugar to taste
Green food coloring (optional)

Mix ingredients and chill. Add food coloring and/or sugar for desired color and tast. Serve over ice cubes and with desired garnishes.

Depending on the size pitcher you are using, you may need to mix this in two batches. You can either mix the lemonade and limeade separately or you can mix half of each concentrate with 4 cans of water in one pitcher.

As another option, take your favorite lemonade recipe (whether fresh-squeezed or made from powdered concentrate) and just add the green food coloring. Just a few drops will make an amazing green color!

Optional garnishes and flavors to use with green lemonade recipe:

  • Ice cubes with frozen fruit in them. Just take an ice cube tray, put in once piece of fruit per section, fill with water and freeze. Maraschino cherries work especially well.
  • Fresh lemon or lime slices.
  • Kiwi slices.

Looking for something even a little more different? How about trying this Green Tea Lemonade recipe?

Green tea lemonade recipe

4 cups boiling water
6 green tea bags
2 1/2 cups cold water
1 can frozen lemonade concentrate

In a teapot, pour boiling water over green tea bags. Cover and brew 2 minutes. Remove tea bags and let cool. In a large pitcher, combine all ingredients.

Alternatively, tea can be made with a sun tea method by using the heat of the sun to brew the tea. This is a good method to use if you want to have a fresh supply of tea but will not be able to boil water at your stand.

Optional garnishes and flavors for green tea lemonade:

  • Mint leaves. Mint is one of the easiest plants to grow and is very fragrant.
  • Fresh lemon slices.
  • Other frozen fruit. You can buy bags of small frozen fruit, such as raspberries or blackberries, and use them either by themselves or frozen within ice cubes.
